&nbsp;Boggus Ford in McAllen is the first official paid     entry in this year&rsquo;s Fajita Cookoff scheduled for October     4-5 at the new McAllen Convention Center on Expressway 83     and Ware Road.&nbsp; </center>  <center>     &nbsp; </center>  <center>     This year&rsquo;s two day cookoff is part of the PalmFest     International Folklife Celebration.&nbsp; Crazy cooking     teams will be competing for cash prizes and custom made     miniature BBQ pit trophies by Camco Wheel &amp; Axle in     Pharr. </center>  <center>     &nbsp;The first day of completion will be sanctioned by the     International BBQ Cookers Association.&nbsp; The entry     categories will be brisket, pork spare ribs and half     chicken.&nbsp; The second day will be strictly fajitas in     two categories, traditional and gourmet.&nbsp; </center>  <center>     The Showmanship Award will go the cooking team that shows     the most spirit and best decorated camp over the two days. </center>  <center>     For more information on entering the Cookoff, go to             <a href="http://www.rgvcookoff.com/">www.RGVCookoff.com</a>             or call the Cookoff hotline at 956-682-5566. </center>  <center>     <br />
