Fajita Cookoff Treasure
Has Been Found !!

02/04/2008

Today Richard Womeldorf awoke to some fantastic news.

Erica Womeldorf, my daughter, presented me with a present from a great patron of the Fajita Cookoff.

Joseph Bond from Edinburg, Tx found this 2nd Annual Fajita Cookoff shirt at his home, and decided to give it to me.

Circa: July 4th ,1977

It is rare to see one in this good of shape. No beer stains, fajita meat juice stains, nothing !! WOW !!

This brings me to ask a question.

How many of our fans have these old shirts stashed in their closets?

Back in the "good ole days" Chris Julian used to have a new and different logo for every year we had the Fajita Cookoff. There should be a bunch laying around here in the Rio Grande Valley.

Any way–THANKS MR BOND — I really appreciate the thought.

If you have one of our ole shirts in VERY GOOD condition, please use the contact page, and let us know.
