2008 – McAllen 4th of July Parade Entry

Here we are at the 2008 McAllen City of Palms
4th of July Parade.

This is the Palmfest entry into the parade.
We had a moment before the rain started AGAIN.
In the ‘ole days the Fajita Cookoff would have been held on this weekend. Glad it wasn’t that way this year.

Palmfest 2008 will be Oct 4th and 5th, 2008
The BBQ Cookoff and The Fajita Cookoff
is a large part of the fun and activities of this Palmfest event
held at the Convention Center on Ware Rd and Exp 83 

ARE WE WET YET?
Yes, the ‘models’ were hiding under umbrellas
trying to stay warm and dry. We all had fun anyway.
